Ron Davis Interview

Ron Davis was interviewed in 2010 by Forestville videographer Patricia Brunelle. Ron chats about his family, having first come to the area in the 1800s.

Ron has often said to me he is related to every street name in downtown Forestville.

His extended family were members of the both churches on Covey Road (Church of Christ and the Medthodist across the street). Back in the days when he was young, there were strong separations between people belonging to different churches. When he would see his cousins at the other church on Sundays, he would waive but they didn't socialize.

He tells many fascinating stories of early Forestville living, working and playing.

Ron is in his late 80s now (in 2015).
