Downtown Photo, 1911

This is Main Street looking East, 1912, showing the Ross brothers' identical 1911 Cadillacs, given to them by their father. The cost at the time was $1700 each. The street was not paved until 1918. Looking down the street, there is the corner of the Silks-Son & Co variety store, Analy Savings Bank and LD Yeager's barbershop.

The tall building ate became Dinucci Hall, which had a floating dance floor. It was later turned into the I.O.O.P. Hall, which later moved to the current location.
Top of the hill is where the Forestville Club is today – it was Hick's Garage in years past before that the Rochedale Store.
